Ariela is an artist and a teacher at YouthBuild, an international non-profit helping youth find a hands-on, holistic approach to a high school diploma.

At the request of friends and family, Ariela created this blog as a way to share experiences and contemplate issues of identity, such as chronic [invisible] illness, perceived "otherness," gender, sexual orientation, race, mental health, family, culture, body image, etc!
